3.9. Requirements for advertising games based on risk and betting
In accordance with the Article 27 of the Federal Law "On Advertising", advertisements of online casinos, bookmakers, recreational/sports betting, and other gambling games based on financial risk are prohibited. The only exception is the advertising of online poker rooms, which are subject to the following requirements:
- poker must be emphasized as an intellectual commercial game
- advertisements must not cause the impression that gaming participation can generate income
- advertisements must not cause the impression that winning is guaranteed
- poker advertisements are permitted for people aged 18 and older, adding the age restriction mark "18+"
