First of all, thank you for the virtual display feature, I love it and this is exactly what my ideal method of using scrcpy is.
With that said, switching apps on the display isn't ideal right now. I realize it's possibly an UI issue that can be fixed with something like Samsung DeX. But the HOME, and APP_SWITCH shortcuts are not working on virtual displays. Is that a bug or is that simply not possible on virtual displays? Closing scrcpy also kills the app, which is doubly annoying.
Is there a DeX-like alternative that you can suggest in the meantime?
PS When is Vulkan AV1 decode coming? I believe FFmpeg has already implemented it. Also, is there a flag for lossless AV1?

HOME works for me on a Pixel 8. However, APP_SWITCH shows the apps on the main display. It's probably dependent on the device.
HOME is working for you on virtual display...? The only way for me to switch app is using back keypress (escape or right-click) until the app exits by itself. But I'm on GrapheneOS, so AOSP might be a factor in that behavior. Oh well, I'll look into DeX-alternatives and see how that works out.
Thanks again!
EDIT I guess I'm supposed to close this thread now?
