@adactio — I’m going to stick with it for a while. I had a call with a chap who was looking for Tito’s Irish-language checkout (it exists!) … first question was “An bhfuil tú gaelgóir?” and I couldn’t even answer in Irish. He mentioned he learned later in life after meeting tourists who spoke more Irish than he did.
