Call me out
and watch me burn away
Call me out
and watch me burn away
All voices spoken
keep the dogs at bay
I pretend listen
I will not obey an man
Focused agenda
Ravaging your body
Seem to not include me
Fathers a good guy
There's a first for everything
And I believe in my mothers' twitching right hand
under his eye
Call me out
and watch me burn away
Call me out
and watch me burn away
Kerosene coated throat
best smile sweetly
One hand across her chest
and feel for slow breathing of fire
Focused agenda
Ravaging your body
Seem to not include your
fathers a good guy
There's a first for everything
And I believe in my mothers' twitching right hand
under his eye

Just inspiring combination of emo-jazz in its purest form. Lyrically it goes over interesting ideas of multiculturalism, parental issues and generational trauma in some of the best ways I've heard in a while. All of the instrumental sections are just beautiful and both singers are outstanding. My favorite moments are probably the almost-yelling section halfway through "I'm From Here" and the horn sections on "Quirk". PeterA
I love this album so much. So many perfect songs to fit all of the jaw dropping moments from this arc. Especially the diary of sheriff isaak. What a banger. fishfeets

Nearly a decade late to the Taz party, but I’m so glad to be aware of it now! I don’t know what elixir Griffin put into the album but I would like to drink a gallon of it. katiegreene137
