Magsafe is great. The ability to just drop your phone on a puck, sand (tripod... bedside), whatever and it snaps to it and you walk away has so many uses. Plugging in a cable is so ... menial.

Probably the best example of how "look great" isn't a great measurement for a gaming system. Easy to point and ooh and ahh at great graphics or physical system design... DS line still outsold PSP by a mile, more games, better gaming experience.

Sony made some past portables that were ok, but man Nintendo showed with the DS line that they understood better how to do that thing. At this point with the Steam Deck, tablets, Switch 2 ... this is a rough spot to dive into.
