תיאור: הסכר על הירדן בקרבת דגניה
הערות: דְּגַנְיָה א' - קבוצה בקצה הדרומי של הכנרת, אם הקבוצות והקיבוצים. מקור השם בדגנים הרבים בישראל. נוסדה ב1910 על חלק מאדמות הכפר אום ג'וני. ב1912 עברה הקבוצה מאום ג'וני לנקודת הקבע באב-אלתום – שער הנהר, מוצא הירדן מהכנרת. דְּגַנְיָה ב' - קבוצה הנמצאת גם דרומית לכנרת, נוסדה ב 1920, על ידי קבוצת עבודה של בני העלייה השנייה. חלוצי עמק הירדן קבעו כי כל היישובים באזור ייקראו דגניה. המקום שימש בסיס יציאה להקמת יישובי חומה ומגדל. במלחמת העצמאות מגיני דגניה א' ו ב' בלמו את צבא סוריה שפלש.
