Zuwiderhandlung ist strafbar nach §86a StGB. Die offiziellen Kennzeichen der Freien Deutschen Jugend sehen den Kennzeichen der Freien Deutschen Jugend in Westdeutschland zum Verwechseln ähnlich und fallen daher ebenfalls unter dieses Verbotsgesetz. Die Verwendung kann daher strafbar sein, wenn eine Verwechslung mit dem Emblem der Freien Deutschen Jugend in Westdeutschland möglich ist.
English Version: In the Federal Republic of Germany, the Organisation "Freie Deutsche Jugend in Westdeutschland" has been banned by the Ministry of the Interior. The emblems of the organisation "Freie Deutsche Jugend" are very similar to those of the forbidden organisation. The usage of this image for non-educational purposes is by this extension forbidden in Germany if it can be confused for the emblem of the "Freie Deutsche Jugend in Westdeutschland".
