| Description |
English: This is the escape system from an F-111, in which this capsule ejects from the aircraft instead of two individual seats. The capsule then descends under it’s own parachute, with the crew remaining inside until safely on the ground. The system was most effective and saved many lives throughout the F-111s service life. It is now on display in Hangar 2 at the Yanks Air Museum, Chino, California, USA. 20th September 2019 |
