Ideas, debates and inspiring conversations: DW was out in full force at b°future. 🌍 We are proud to have been able to contribute to this year's b° future festival in Bonn with insights ranging from constructive reporting and podcasting to internet freedom, vertical video journalism and the future of Europe's public sphere. Over two days, our journalists and experts shared practical insights and international perspectives through workshops, deep dives and panel discussions. 👏 A big thank you goes out to everyone who stopped by, joined our sessions, asked questions, and explored how international journalism can foster dialogue across borders. Can journalists report like content creators and still uphold the highest journalistic standards? Absolutely, says DW's Johanna Rüdiger. 👇   She joined the ARD #beyondnews conference to share insights into how DW is already supporting its journalists. As Coordinator Digital Talents & Content Creators, she supports DW journalists with developing creator skills, building communities, connecting with audiences in more accessible ways, and most importantly building trust in reporting.    "Newsrooms should invest in their own journalists instead of hiring outside creators" was one of the demands that young German journalists presented at the conference held at DW in Bonn. Journalism doesn't just explain problems. It can also help audiences understand possible ways forward. What would make someone leave Latin America to fight in a distant war? 🎙️ The new podcast "Call Sign Condor" follows Latin American volunteers who traveled thousands of miles to join Ukraine's armed forces, exploring the experiences, motivations and personal journeys behind their decisions.
