Accuracy of state boundaries

It appears that the state boundaries between Kentucky and Virginia are off, seeming to indicate Kentucky has some land that is actually in Virginia. If the boundaries were different at this time, this is just my ignorance, but I wanted to bring this to the attention of whoever might update the image.
