History
editPeople's Commissariat for Agriculture of the USSR M. Chernov issued order №2789 (on November 14, 1935) on the opening of an agricultural institute in Novosibirsk.[1]
On September 1, 1936, the doors of the university were opened. There were 6 departments with 18 teachers.[1]
In 1941, the first graduation of highly qualified specialists took place.[1]
In 1991, after the state certification, the institute was renamed the Agrarian University.[1]
Graduates of the university Fofanov V.I., Leonov I.I., Mrachek V.K., Demidenko V.P., Bugakov Yu.F. were awarded the title of Heroes of Socialist Labor.[1]
