This is a documentation subpage for Template:Too many photos.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template flags articles which contain an excessive number of images.

Usage

Placing {{Too many photos}} on an article page will automatically add the page to Category:Pages with too many photos for further cleanup. See WP:Sandwich or WP:Gallery or MOS:ACCIM for further information.

{{Too many photos|date=January 2025}}

Also parameter 1 may be included to replace "article" with a specific term, such as "section" or "table". For example:
