Augusto Zampini-Davies (July 25, 1969, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine Catholic priest. He studied Law at the Universidad Católica Argentina and worked as a lawyer for banks and multinational companies. In 2004, he was ordained a priest. After studying Moral Theology, he obtained a Master's degree in International Development from the University of Bath, a Ph.D. in Theology from Roehampton University, London, and a post-doctorate from Cambridge.[1]

Since 2020 he is Deputy Secretary of the Vatican's Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, which is chaired by Cardinal Peter Turkson.[2]

He is also adjunct Secretary of the Vatican COVID-19 Commission, which Pope Francis instituted on March 20, 2020, to propose solutions to the socio-economic problems that the coronavirus pandemic would bring with it.[3][4][5]
