Reason: This page is experiencing a spill over conflict from the Dutch language Wikipedia. There, the article is already protected and an arbcom-case is pending.

I'd hoped the conflict there would not affect the editing of the article here, as the users involved were not overly active on the English Wikipedia, but to no avail.

One of the users in question, De Wikischim (talk · contribs) is subjected to restrictions implemented by the Dutch-language-Wikipedia Arbcom which forbid him to revert articles except in cases of obvious vandalism. These restrictions however do not apply to English Wikipedia, and at this point it is obvious that this user is trying to provoke others in breaking the 3RR.

I think it would save the administrators a lot of trouble, if they'd protect this page -- thereby forcing the participants to engage on the talk page.

I personally do not care which version is protected. This could be the version prior to major revision [1] / the version which makes use of the most source material [2] or the current version [3].

I do however request the administrators to readd the {{POV}} and {{Sources}} -taggs whatever version chosen (which were also reverted by De Wikischim, despite explicit requests not to do so [4]) so as to alert readers to the articles at various times quite dubious content.
