Why this software is written in C, C++ and Pascal at the same time?--140.112.102.7 (talk) 07:58, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Windows 7

This article says:

"Since version 2.7, MiKTeX has support for XeTeX, MetaPost and pdfTeX and compatibility with Windows 7."

The prerequisites section of the MiKTeX site (url https://miktex.org/kb/prerequisites) says:

"MiKTeX prerequisites
Windows
MiKTeX for Windows requires one of the following Windows operating systems:
Windows 10
Windows Server 2016
Windows 8/8.1 (all editions except RT)
Windows Server 2012"

Either the article is wrong or the prerequisites section of the MiKTeX site is wrong. ---Dagme (talk) 09:55, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
