Biography and Background notes

I knew that she's relatively new but is there any/enough information on this musician to justify a wikipage just yet?

well she has been #1 on TRL for a whole week. she has recroded with Avril Lavigne.... i think she deserves a real page now. also, it's "Lil Mama" NOT "Lil' Mama"

Biography section

This looks like copy-paste material. Maybe scrap it all? --125.238.43.7 00:41, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is indeed Lil' Mama please fix this, because loads of websites use Wikipedia as a reference... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.164.231.203 (talk) 02:31, 29 December 2010 (UTC) how old are you.[reply]

Rumours?

An editor inserted this text:

*On Lil' Mama's Official Myspace page, she confirmed that her next single would be entitled "Make It Hot"

Anybody find this there? Greswik 20:19, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

24.32.62.69 had changed this to "GSLIDE TOUR BUS", also on the article. If that's right, this should be OK then. The line in the article now reads *On Lil' Mama's Official Myspace page, she confirmed that her next single would be entitled "GSLIDE TOUR BUS". Greswik 11:09, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Google description

When I googled "Lil' Mama," the wikipedia link has the description "Lil' Unwed Mama." Can someone please remove "unwed"? I don't know how, and it's not very encyclopedic. Knittatron 02:40, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to some good edits, this edit contained some unreferenced changes to chart positions. Please give it some scrutiny. - Mgm|(talk) 11:47, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Duet with Lavigne

I see that still there's no mention in this wiki-article that she duetted with Avril Lavigne in 2007 on Avril's track "Girlfriend", add it, please. 95.153.173.178 (talk) 23:05, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article Clean-Up

The article needs some cleaning up a bit. 2601:195:C001:2630:9D67:6BC2:4900:2422 (talk) 00:23, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I’m doing just that. Statements such as “ This showed Kirkland as a legitimate rapper for even adults to listen to” are ridiculous and unsourced. Paige Matheson (talk) 00:05, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Paige Matheson The entire 'Early Life' section is like a fluff piece. Heddingite (talk) 19:01, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
