Hello. I'm trying to understand Wikipedia format. Please know that I am not trying to spam. I apologize for the inconvenience as there is much to learn and read.

Alejandro Capo for Lourdes Chacon forever

Please help me. The age of this artist was updated because it has been wrong for years. DOB: February 14, 1964. The profile photo was updated to show current artist and was reverted due to my other errors.

Can you help input this information correctly. is that allowed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lourdeschaconforever (talkcontribs) 00:05, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Lourdeschaconforever: I don't particularly have time or interest for the article itself. It's best for me to direct you to Talk:Lourdes Chacón, Wikipedia:Help desk or Wikipedia:Teahouse. See also Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. 84.251.84.243 (talk) 14:29, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WRT removing port number assignment for IANA port 37601. You jumped in way to early on this one, I am the actual owner of the port and was *still editing the entry*. Either you want the best list of information, i.e all known port numbers together with whatever information is available, or you want a patchy and incomplete set due to some fundamentalist version of referencing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vinum opus (talkcontribs) 10:48, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Vinum opus: You have an apparent conflict of interest in Wikipedia. Please read about it, use the Show preview button if necessary, and sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Please make sure Epipole or the software/protocol itself is notable for its own article before inclusion or has independent, reliable third-party publications for referencing, per WP:CSC. 84.251.84.243 (talk) 10:54, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vinum opus (talk) 11:31, 28 February 2017 (UTC)I am quite happy for the provenance of the entry, in fact any and all entries, to be known and will include whatever warnings deemed necessary - the addition of information to Wikipedia is not intended to be a marketing exercise. As for conflict of interest, I would disagree there is a conflict since the port ownership is not in contention. WRT other entries that are apparently being tagged for removal, the information donated adds to the sum of human knowledge since in every case it is unique.[reply]

I make the edit that you reverted but did not want to be public about why.

Could you please revert back your revision?
