About
Welcome to fork() my information security and forensics blog.
I’m a digital forensic examiner from New York with a love of all things technical. I’m interested in computer security, mobile security, information warfare, Android and Windows forensics. While there are far more interesting infosec blogs out there, I’m using fork() to connect with others in the industry to discuss topics of interest to me (namely security, forensics and new technologies).
This blog is 100% vendor and organization independent. Although I may review or comment on vendor products on occasion, the views and opinions reflected on the blog are my own. You can rest assured that I will not attempt to push or persuade you to purchase any goods or services.
This blog chronicles my adventures testing new methods and tools. If that’s of interest to you, stick around and subscribe.
I’ve also been doing some scripting/coding lately. Be sure to subscribe to the blog to keep up to date with my coding adventures [or horrors].
Since I post infrequently, please feel free to follow fork() on Twitter. I’ll be retweeting infosec tweets by fellow security professionals and posting links to interesting articles.
I’ve also included some great DFIR & digital security links throughout my blog for those looking for a deeper for a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Feel free to tell me about your project or blog and I’ll add a link to it if it’s a quality resource. Similarly, if you’d like my help on a project, feel free to reach out! Links ≠endorsement.
Remember: only you can safeguard your privacy and security online.
Thanks for visiting!
VERY nice site. Everything meticulously done. I AM impressed. And I have been around so that is saying a lot. You know me from TechIMO. I am Networker. Just saw you in IIJM and an XP forum.
Thanks so much for the support and kind words. It means a lot coming from you, Rick!
Feel free to subscribe. While I can’t guarantee it’ll be the best blog out there, it’ll be a lot of fun to write. Perhaps some fun to read as well.
Thanks again,
Adam (Interrupt)
