Menu keyboard shortcuts should show when holding Alt

The keyboard shortcuts on the menu only show after you press and release the Alt key. They should show when press and hold the Alt key

Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to underline the shortcut like in old-style menus? You could put & before the underline letter.

Good suggestion but it requires small changes in the menu item template as I'll implement TextBlock with adding underline in case of alt press.

In the desktop world setting the header of the menu to "&File" would hide the & and show the F with an underline when pressing the alt key

We can do it but I we would need to change the & because you can just use & inside xaml text

I guess I was typing while sleeping, I can't understand what I wrote :D anyway we can't use '&' but we still can use (!@#$%*^)
IMO we could use ^ as it is not commonly used in the text.

Just a note: We could use & but it has to be written as & in XAML code, so it's not as convenient.

Agreed, it's not as convenient, my assumption is that most devs would add it through xaml.
