You can use this script to calculate the maximum available IOPS and throughput for a given volume.

• You need to install bc (an arbitrary precision calculator language) on your Linux machine.
• You may use the following commands to install bc

Ubuntu / Debian based machine:

apt-get install bc

Amazon Linux/ CentOS/ RHEL/ Fedora based machine:

yum install bc

• Place the script on your linux machine and make it executable

  # chmod +x volume_Limit_Calculator.sh

• Run the script

  # ./volume_Limit_Calculator.sh
