Bug: Applciation not deploying automatically even though trigger type is set to auto

It is bugging out in specific scenarios when you delete the pre-cd and cd remains.
The application will not be automatically deployed even though the trigger type is set to auto.

👟 Reproduction steps

1. Create an application. Create a workflow and configure CI, pre-cd, cd. Set trigger type of cd as auto.
2. Delete pre-cd
3. Trigger CI.
4. CD will not trigger automatically.

👍 Expected behavior

It should have triggered CD automatically.

👎 Actual Behavior

It didn't trigger CD automatically.
