help how do i download it

im sorry this isnt an issue with the software itself this is just my first time installing something on github and i dont know how to install it. i installed the zip file and im looking at the folders and id ont really see an installer or anything that would jump out to me?? thank you please help

You need to open the .sln in visualstudio and compile.

If you are not familiar with visual studio: download the release version of RetroBar from https://github.com/dremin/RetroBar/releases

The following true is for all apps that do not come with a dedicated "installer" program:

Just run the exe directly after unpacked. You can copy it to Program Files if you really want but that's not necessary.

If you want it to appear in the start menu, you can copy and paste it as a shortcut here C:\Users\????\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs where ???? is your user name.
