Repo Cleanup Tasks

Solus has been updating their tooling and infrastructure since its resurrection. While most of the tooling changes can be accomplished by staff members alone, there are things that they cannot do. While many consider Solus repository as small, it still contains more than 6000 packages. Some packages have never even gotten an update since Solus was first created! We want to get rid of all its cruft before we can migrate to a better tooling. That's where the community contributor can come in and help.

Ongoing tasks:

• appstream: Add metainfo to all packages containing a .desktop file #1389
• Install license files for all packages #7294
• Packages with insecure http or dead link as homepage #5522
• Add monitoring.yaml to all packages in the repo #4121

Completed tasks:

• Packages missing the homepage key #411
• wiki.gnome.org is planned for retirement, all affected homepages must be replaced #4116
• Clean up some monitoring.ymls #4425
• appstream: Add metainfo xml to all font packages #449
• chore: Use cargo macros across the repo #3111
