Post-Time Tracking Review Dialog for Task Plugin

Hello, first of all, I’d like to say that Kimai is a great product! However, I believe there is one detail missing in the task Plugin.

Currently, when stopping time tracking in the Task Plugin, the entry is immediately created and stored in the database without any further interaction. It would be highly beneficial if, after stopping the time tracking, a dialog appeared allowing users to review and adjust the recorded data before finalizing the entry, e.g. :
• The ability to correct time-related details (start/end time, duration, etc.)
• Additional metadata fields for further categorization or descriptions
• Any other necessary adjustments before saving the entry

This could look similar to the interface that appears when clicking “Duplicate Entry” in the time tracking list.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and whether such an improvement is feasible.

The entire idea of the task plugin widgets is, that your do not have to care about the time records, but only about the task.
Please share any idea how to insert such a feature, without changing how it currently works (e.g. change a config to get differnet behavior, click on the duration label to open the last time entry ...
