Ability to see object revision history

From lander timeline training 2016/9/13:
User requested ability to see what has changed for a given item (timeline) since a particular version. I'm sure the data store does this at some level, but it does not appear to be available for the users to access. Also, the user was hoping for some kind of notification when a timeline is changed, though that obviously depends on having userids linked with e-mails first.
