Using #solution or other to reference entire codebase in Copilot Chat #106314

Select Topic AreaQuestion BodyThe announcement for the latest updates of Copilot Chat indicate you can use #solution to reference the entire solution as context, but that doesn't seem to work - has anyone had success referencing that as opposed to just individual files? |

Hi @u5014 , Please check that you have updated to the latest version of the Copilot extension. Please note that other installed extensions in your IDE might be causing problems focusing the context. Let us know how it goes. Thanks! |

For Visual Studio, you actually need to go to Tools > Options > GitHub > Copilot Chat > "Enable referencing your #Solution (currently C# only)
