I have a WordPress website, https://abodeinfo.com/, and I'm facing an issue where unexpected meta descriptions/snippets appear in Google search results. For example, Google is showing text like:
"Le Catrina Mustard Color Mexican Style Hoodie Sudadera ..."
This is not relevant to my website, and I’m unsure where it’s coming from.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I inspected my existing sitemap at https://abodeinfo.com/sitemap.xml. It contains multiple autogenerated files like sitemap890.xml, which seem incorrect or unrelated.
To fix this, I created a new sitemap using the Yoast SEO plugin in WordPress. The new sitemap URL is https://abodeinfo.com/sitemap_index.xml.
I submitted the new sitemap to Google Search Console. While it says "Sitemap can be read," it also mentions "Sitemap has errors."
