I think this is related, so I'm adding to your discussion instead of opening a new one. I've noticed that the new UI is not handling wrapping correctly. Short and long tasks at the same outline level should be aligned visually. But wrapped tasks are not aligned with unwrapped tasks. Here's a simple task list, with only top-level tasks: - [ ] Single-line task
- [ ] Single-line task
- [ ] Task with a description long enough to span multiple lines. This task should line up with other tasks at the same semantic level, but will it? Nobody knows!
- [ ] Single-line task Those four tasks should all align at the left margin. Here's what it looks like: It looks worse with more levels of indentation in the original task list. It's a minor thing, but it makes a simple task list look more complex than it actually is. |

As of Jan 16, 2024, "Task Lists" have large amounts of padding (spacing) on the top and bottom of each list item. This is causing hundreds of my issues, to be extremely difficult to read. This is odd because regular "Unordered Lists" and "Numbered Lists" have no spacing. See the attached screenshot.
Lets fix this by either;
a) reverting back to previous Task Lists spacing
b) or just remove the padding (spacing) on the top and bottom of each Task List item.
Also, there is now a divergence in spacing amongst lists. (Ordered, numbered, etc.) . See screenshot below
