Hi,
I manage a private repository dedicated to providing learning materials, and I've received multiple inquiries from students and educators worldwide about potential discounts on GitHub subscriptions for verified student or teacher accounts.
From what I understand, GitHub already offers discounted plans for students, educators, and educational institutions to expand access to its services. I’d love to see this extended to GitHub Sponsorships by introducing a sponsor tier exclusive to verified student and teacher accounts, allowing them to subscribe to discounted monthly tiers.
Would this be something GitHub could consider?
