I´m trying to use GitHub Copilot and it gives me this error: "Access denied. You do not have permission to view this." I have a GitHub Copilot account. Can anyone help me?

1. Sign out of GitHub/Copilot in your IDE, reload the editor, and sign in again. GitHub recommends this for authentication problems in VS Code.

2. If you are using a Copilot Pro trial, note that GitHub said on April 13, 2026 that all Copilot Pro trials, including existing trials, were paused during their investigation. GitHub’s official workaround was to switch to Copilot Free or upgrade to paid Copilot Pro or Pro+.

3)If none of that fixes it, contact GitHub Support. GitHub’s troubleshooting docs point users there for persistent Copilot problems.
