Hello 👋 y’all, Welcome to another Actions check-in. We are MARCH-ing towards the end of the month and I hope you are ACTIONing your goals 🎯 - so are we! We’ve had a great month with the number of exciting Action ships so far. Before we dive into them, let’s get started by ✨-ing some of our amazing community members who stood out this past month.
💌 From the Community - Shoutout 📢 to these members
There are plenty of answers our superstar ⭐ @jge162 has authored in the community, here are some of my favourites from this past month:
@code-R wanted to trigger GitHub Action ci for ‘tags’ and ‘branch’ push and got an amazing from @jge162 👏 The way reproduced the issue and an example pseudo code is just perfect. 💯
We need your help - Want to flex some solving muscles? 🧠
We are a strong community helping each other answering queries related to GitHub Actions. I saw these questions haven’t got any response yet and would love to see you contributing and help.
Three weeks ago we announced general availability of GitHub Actions Importer to all users. GitHub Actions Importer helps you plan, forecast, and automate migrations from Azure DevOps, CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins, and Travis CI to GitHub Actions. It’s an extension of the official GitHub CLI and is available for free to any GitHub user. If you haven’t tried it yet, check out the documentation to learn how to get started and share any feedback here in the community.
If you’re on a paid Team and Enterprise plan, you can now sign up for a beta to get access to new and powerful macOS runners for x64. Access is requested via the beta sign-up page.
If you use versioned reusable workflows in GitHub Actions, you can now use Dependabot version updates to keep those workflows up-to-date in your repositories!
GitHub Team plan customers will be able to create, manage and delete runner groups to better manage their hosted and self-hosted runners. Enterprise customers will continue to have access to this feature at the Organisation and Enterprise level.
