Hi All

I am trying to setup copilot with IntelliJ Idea Community Edition 2023.2. Here are the steps I followed-

1. Installed copilot extension in IntelliJ
2. Entered the device code on github for authentication

After this github on browser shows that device activation is successful, however on IntelliJ a pop up keeps on displaying saying "Waiting for Github Authentication" and it doesn't take me anywhere

Searched google for a possible solution but no luck. Please help as I need to showcase the cabalities and features copilot has

In order to use Copilot, you must first sign up to Copilot.

This will activate the service for you.

My problem was resolved by updating the Copilot extension to the latest version and re-authenticating Github through PyCharm.

works for me with 1.4.14.4554 version.

Just need to:

• Download .zip 1.4.14.4554 Copilot version: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/17718-github-copilot/versions/stable
• Install manually from IDEA (IDEA IntelliJ -> Settings -> Plugins -> 3 dots -> "Install Plugin from Disk"
• Restart IDE
