Nothing worked for me in vscode. Then I uninstalled the vscode and installed it in different location. That worked! |

There's two scenarios:
Within Tools > Options > GitHub > Copilot > Sign in with Device Flow >> If this is FALSE
Within Tools > Options > GitHub > Copilot > Sign in with Device Flow >> If this is TRUE
We recommend switching this setting to False, but if you must keep it true, then there is a Sign Out button in the Copilot menu.
