Same here. The log mentions that copilot chat is enabled and that it got a token. Then it just keeps telling me "There was a problem". I am logged in under accounts. Regular copilot code completion works fine. |

I'm also having the same issue today. I've reinstalled the extensions. Repaired VS 2022 17.7.4. Logged in/out and removed/re-added github accounts. |

I can't get GitHub Copilot Chat to work in VS22, or VS22 Preview. The both have this issue. I've tried reauthenticating, restarting, and reinstalling the extensions in both. There is another discussion on this (#68864), but it was opened as a Question, and perhaps that's why it doesn't seem to have gotten any attention, so I'll open this as a Bug.
