I don't know, try it.

As for saving automatically when changes are made via keepasshttp, it's
possible to add that feature to the plugin, but I've not wanted to have it
save accidentally when someone happens to have their database in a bad
state. So I haven't implemented it yet.

When implemented, such a feature should be configured by an option and not
made default.
