KeePassHTTP and Firefox with Passifox --> Error 502 #327
Comments
@romanf I don't know if you are still having this problem but I got simliar message (504 for me). The 502 is a HTTP Status Code which means "Bad Gateway". My issue was that it failed when behind a corporate firewall and I did not have an ignore rule for localhost on the client. Once I modified my settings to not use a proxy for 127.0.0.1 and localhost, the system returned back to default behaviour. |
@Wayne-Mather Do you mean the system proxy settings? It's indeed in a business machine where I have this problem and the system is setup to use a PAC file from the company proxy... should I check there for the rules for 127.0.0.1 and localhost? |
@romanf - Yes thats what I modified as well. I ensured that under Connections->Lan Settings that the following were done:
Hope this helps. If you cannot change those due to GPO's in your environment, talk to your IT staff to see if they can add those to the GPO's as required. |
@romanf - Sorry for the late reply, I use http://proxyswitcher.net/ and setup firefox to ignore the proxy for localhost and 127.0.0.1 connections. Works like a charm |
Hello,
I am using KeePassHTTP (1.8.4.2) in KeePass (2.36) and Firefox (53.0.3) with Passifox (1.2.2) and I get the message "Unknown KeePassHttp error: 502" displayed in Firefox.
What does error 502 mean?
(And yes, I tried to search here for 502...)
Thanks
Roman
