For each pattern search, you can click on the vertical ellipsis or hit shift-space to open a menu to select the search options, such as stemming or regex. However, normal left-clicking on the feature doesn't do anything except close the menu. Left-clicking on the ellipsis and then selecting the option with a right-click selects the feature (but then open the context menu). It seems like a left-click is needed instead.

Using with Vivaldi.

Thanks for taking the time to report this! Sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems that, for some reason, this function only works properly in Firefox. I can fix it but unfortunately I have a lot going on at the moment.

There are two alternative ways to activate the options:

  • When the menu is open (can be opened with Shift+Space), press the underlined letter in the option you want.
  • Drag down from the menu button instead of clicking it, and release over the option you want.
