Support for Places Search (New)

n00b question here. Google have an Api called 'Nearby Search (New)'

Is this supported by the library, or only the older version of the Nearby search Api?

Currently, only the older version of places search.
I will find some time to implement the newer api's.

As discussed elsewhere, the older Places API is on a deprecation path. It will enter "legacy" state in March 1, 2025.

Update: I plan do get this done during the last half of February. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I could make it before the deprecation date, but I now I believe it's possible.

Will update here when I get started.
