I hope that my student membership in AСM allows me to share my views
you are of course allowed to share your views, and it doesn't require ACM membership
however you may notice that people here are not much interested in the topic. actually we are a bit "fed up to the throat" with vague and pointless talks around AI, sorry. even ACM president's views would be considered "brain-farting" in that case. being professional means to be able to think professional thoughts and talk professional talks. discussions of what could be if something would be simply do not fall into professional category.
Hello! Thank you for stopping by and expressing your opinion - it is valuable, as is the opinion of each of us in a healthy society. Where it is customary to speak out, discuss, argue and look for solutions to common problems together. My thoughts in the notes are not about hypothetical things. As a member of the subcommittees on artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, I read a lot and listen to different opinions. I see dangerous statistics on insurance companies - their attitude to people who agreed to the implantation of seamless brain-computer interfaces. And that is why I started this series of articles. In the future, I will present my point of view in more detail and, perhaps, in this cloud of farts on Habr, some more perfect understanding of the issues will arise. Yes, I cannot and am not ready to speak on behalf of everyone - I speak only for myself. And I am talking about professional things and am ready to talk only about this.
