Sosiologi keluarga
Sosiologi keluarga mempelajari keluarga sebagai sebuah institusi dan unit sosialisasi melalui berbagai sudut pandang sosiologi, terutama terhadap hubungan antara keluarga nuklir dan kapitalisme industri, dan peran jenis kelamin dan konsep masa kanak-kanak yang muncul. Sosiologi keluarga adalah komponen umum dalam kurikulum akademik perkenalan dan pra-universitas, karena merupakan institusi paling sederhana yang dapat diterapkan menggunakan banyak pendekatan sosiologi mendasar.
