Why I’d pick LWC over Visualforce or Aura any day 👇 I started my Salesforce journey with Apex and LWC, so I never really built anything in Visualforce. But I’ve had to maintain VF pages and Aura components — and let’s just say... I’m really glad LWC exists 😅 Here’s why I think LWC is the way forward (and backward-compatible too): 🔹 1. Performance LWC is built on modern web standards. It’s fast. Way faster than Aura, and honestly, VF doesn’t even come close. Everything just feels snappier and lighter. 🔹 2. Developer Experience With LWC, I can use ES6, destructuring, async/await, modern tooling — all the good stuff we get in regular frontend development. With Aura? I’m stuck writing component.get("v.whatever") and praying the framework doesn’t break something on rerender. 🔹 3. Reusability LWC components are modular. I can reuse a card, modal, or form across multiple apps without duplicating logic. Visualforce? Feels like writing JSP from the early 2000s. Aura? Reusability is possible, but it’s way more effort than it should be. 🔹 4. Future-Proof Salesforce is investing heavily in LWC. You see it in Experience Cloud, screen flows, Salesforce Functions, even OmniStudio. Visualforce and Aura still work, but let’s be honest — they’re not going to be the future of any new product. 🔹 5. Better Debugging LWC errors are easier to trace in the browser. With Aura, the errors are often buried in the console like some cryptic message from another dimension 😬 👀 When do I still use VF or Aura? Only when I absolutely have to — like when working with legacy components or some standard page overrides that still need VF. Otherwise, it’s all LWC. Would love to know how others are handling the VF/Aura to LWC transition. Still maintaining old components? 🚀 5-Minute Salesforce Revision: Security Model in Salesforce When we talk about Salesforce Security, think of it as layers of defense 🔐 1️⃣ Organization Level Who can log in? (IP ranges, login hours, MFA) 2️⃣ Object Level (CRED) Profile / Permission Set decides if a user can Create, Read, Edit, Delete a record type. 3️⃣ Field Level Restrict visibility/edit rights on specific fields (Ex: hide Salary field). 4️⃣ Record Level Controls which records a user can see.
