This album is truly one of my favorite as it makes me think about the act of forgetting something when you don't want to. You can't control it and makes you feel miserable. This truly makes me enjoy the memories I can remember because there will be a point in time where it will be gone. tenr3d

Eerie, expansive, and breathtaking. This is ambient drone on an epic scale. The effect that some of these pieces have when they abruptly end is shattering -- these sounds become a part of your consciousness, and when they drop away, you're left in silence more intense than you've ever felt. Can we call this Sunn's pop album? Steve Albini's production makes their sludge sparkling clean and perfectly balanced. Eminently listenable, you could probably even put this on for people who don't get drone metal and they might dig it. Levrikon
