This crate requires a nightly (unstable, experimental) compiler version. To switch to it, you must have Rust installed via Rustup, and run:
rustup default nightly
Run rustup default stable to switch back.
ask-cli is both an executable binary that can be run, and a library that can be used in Rust programs.
Installing the ask executable
Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:
cargo install ask-cli
It will make the ask command available in your PATH if you've allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall ask-cli uninstalls.
Adding ask_cli library as a dependency
Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:
cargo add ask-cli
To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:
ask-cli = "0.3.0"
The ask_cli library will be automatically available globally.
Read the ask_cli library documentation.
