Adding `async_drop` library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add async-drop

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

async-drop = "0.1.2"

The async_drop library will be automatically available globally. Read the async_drop library documentation.

Async Drop

Inspired by async-dropper

Adjustments

Removed async_trait crate dependency
Types don't have to implement Default
Dropper's drop will wait until async_drop completes
Only compatible with the tokio runtime (for now)
