This crate requires a nightly (unstable, experimental) compiler version. To switch to it, you must have Rust installed via Rustup, and run:

rustup default nightly

Run rustup default stable to switch back.

RustOwl is both an executable binary that can be run, and a library that can be used in Rust programs.

Installing rustowl rustowlc executables

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:

cargo install rustowl

It will make rustowl rustowlc commands available in your PATH if you've allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall rustowl uninstalls.

Adding rustowl library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add rustowl

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

rustowl = "1.0.0-rc.1"

The rustowl library will be automatically available globally. Read the rustowl library documentation.
