Adding `simplestcrypt` library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add simplestcrypt

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

simplestcrypt = "0.2.0"

The simplestcrypt library will be automatically available globally. Read the simplestcrypt library documentation.

simplestcrypt

Simplest way to perform a symmetric encryption, using a preshared key. Very small wrapper around aes-siv crate, with randomly generated nonces, for anything more advanced, use aes-siv instead
