size_of_const_macro is a procedural macro. It will run at compile time and transform your program's source code.

Adding `size_of_const_macro` macro(s) as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add size_of_const_macro

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

size_of_const_macro = "0.1.0"

You may need to import the macro(s) with use size_of_const_macro::*.

size_of_const_macro

Provides the SizeOf derive macro for generating a constant of the type's size. Not designed to work on types with generics.
The MSRV is 1.56.

Example

Derive it on your object declaration.
