torrust-index is both an executable binary that can be run, and a library that can be used in Rust programs.

Installing create_test_torrent health_check import_tracker_statistics parse_torrent seeder torrust-index upgrade executables

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:

cargo install torrust-index

It will make create_test_torrent health_check import_tracker_statistics parse_torrent seeder torrust-index upgrade commands available in your PATH if you've allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall torrust-index uninstalls.

Adding torrust_index library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add torrust-index

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

torrust-index = "3.0.0"

The torrust_index library will be automatically available globally. Read the torrust_index library documentation.
