A reporter by day, an aspiring writer by night: you've been asking all the important questions on the dark web.
Like, how do you bury a body? How do you kill someone with a crowbar with the right angle to cause blunt-force trauma? What's the best way to hide from law enforcement?
If you're to write a good crime book, this is how you'll do it.

Yup, you heard us right! Killer Chat is a dark satire romance chatsim where you date serial killers. Pretend to be a serial killer, get inspiration for your book, fall in love, and try not to call the cops through a whirlwind six months with your murderous beau of choice. Who knows? You might find your happily ever after... or headline the news as a gruesomely lovesick corpse. It's honestly up to you.

This game makes me smile :D! the characters are so much fun to interact with.
just wanted to let you know that if you type "'ANGEL SUCKS'" (with the single quotations) (at the part where Ronin says the Cryptic Poem(tm) after Angel gets rid of the executioner in mod chat (on the Ronin Route)), the game gives you an error screen. it created an error file in the game folder if you'd like to see that, though i'm not sure how to share the whole file. it is a txt,,,, here is everything before the "full traceback" line:

so i think that the ' symbol is most definitely the issue
some other symbols were untypable (eg. i tried to put "#ILOVEWOMEN" as my status, but the text box doesn't allow hashtags.) you could try doing something like that, or make the apostrophes typable somehow. idk, i don't code :3

realized there's a bug report form :3 i'll submit it there, sorry! ^^;
ah-- something more,, though it isn't a bug report. in some cases, the general text seems, at times, non-applicable? especially during V's route. during his route,
- V warns that the cops might go after him if he doesn't report Ronin. MC is worried. in the notes page after, you are forced to choose "This is gonna be fun."
- Ronin will threaten you to tell him the truth about your identity; even if you've already tried it multiple times (saying "Lying isn't the best foundation for a relationship." technically it is possible to be honest with V from the start, he just won't believe you.) the mc is worried about whether V would harm them-- but it'd make a lot more sense if the mc was worried about how they were going to convince V of the truth so that they're left unharmed by Ronin (how V reacts could also be a thing, but the lack of mention of his inevitable disbelief is odd. it could be like "will Ronin harm me if i'm unable to convince V?") (i also think a "V won't believe me" option would make sense to be there when talking with Ronin) (the dialogue for when MC goes to get advice in VC would also change in this case, imo)
- after he says that he might be in danger if he doesn't report Ronin, the only option to click is "This is gonna be fun." in the note after, when, right before that, the MC is worried about him.
- when he gets arrested on call, the reaction/document of the mc's feelings... doesn't quite match? like. there are police sirens and then it cuts to "Wow, that's a weight off your chest! Perhaps you can start sleeping properly again." like bro your bf just got arrested?? (also it was a bit odd how MC prioritizes discussing cut season over trying to contact V. like there's an order of priority here...)
anyway, it's not my VN!! i just wanted to let you know that the dialogue differences can be jarring at times :3 please don't murder me (sry i started this comment early last night but didn't finish it; that's why there's a days difference)
So much fun! The UI is gorgeous, and I appreciate being able to change the font, because while it is wonderful for the aesthetic, I've always found pixel text to be difficult. I always love a virtual desktop setup. All of the the characters are great so far, feels quite true to the suspicious users you meet in shady forums/chats(minus the annoying guy that sends u shockvalue grabage) -I of course could not say this from experience :P
The character creation was very slow/laggy on Mac, but I imagine that'll get sorted once the full game comes along, and it's entirely possible my computer is just slow lol. I also wonder if more body types will be added? Love me a twink but sometimes ya wanna be a lil chunkier.
OKOK last thing, I know it's almost certainly not in the cards, but I would pay good money to be able to romance the Sunset Slasher. older man whose a sweet/thrill killer?? be still, my beating heart <3!!

it is! I, for example, romanced with Misaki on the first run, and I checked just to be sure and yes! You can date V. I made sure to turn Misaki down on my second run and didn't tell Angel to add an extra threat when she proposes to text Ron and V. Good luck!

ive been playing for about an hour and a half and i still dont know whyyy i cant get ronin route TOT
During character creation you need to select that you're interested in either "Men" or "Anyone", otherwise Ronin won't be available.
When you choose your roles on the server, choosing the crowbar helps. Asking him when you first join the server what serial killer he is (when you're given the option to ask one of the LIs about their serial identity).
During the phone call in Oct, tell him "I like it here" and "What will you give me?".

i love this game a lot!!! i have been replaying and am having a bug i haven't seen before. sometimes the voice over simply stops, almost all other sounds continue, just the voices vanish and only come back after i restart the game :(

i've been having an issue where the menu randomly opens :( it's fine tho. it reminds me to save. idk if it's bc of the game or bc of my mousepad (my actual mouse got stolen a while back and i haven't gotten a new one yet.) i'm guessing that it's randomly right clicking and that right clicking brings you to the menu? i don't see that in the controls guide tho ;-;

Once you choose what you want your character to write about (either by making changes or leaving it as default) you click the x in the top corner and can go back to the Slaughterhouse losers on the desktop to progress.

Hiii, no I didn't follow one. You can choose to talk to him on main in the beginning, then choose him as the inspiration for your novel and that should let you pursue him. Then just be nice and honest to him. The convo at the end of his route also matters but that's depending on the ending you wanna get. Btw, if you keep getting the ideal ending early on it's bc you actually have to let Angel dm either Ronin or V when she asks you. I hope this works!
