Is SimplePDF HIPAA compliant?

Yes. SimplePDF processes all PDFs directly in your browser. Documents are never processed by SimplePDF's servers, on any plan.

No Protected Health Information (PHI) is ever stored by SimplePDF. This client-side architecture is the strongest privacy guarantee: data that never leaves your device cannot be breached.

How does the embed work?

Add a single script tag or React component to your site. When a user clicks a link to a PDF, SimplePDF opens an in-browser editor. The user fills out the form, and you receive the completed submission via webhook, email, or your own S3/Azure storage.

What forms can users fill out?

Any PDF form. SimplePDF detects interactive form fields (AcroFields) automatically and also lets users add text, signatures, checkboxes, and images to any PDF, even non-interactive ones.

Can I white-label the editor?

Yes. Pro plans include custom branding: your logo, colors, and domain. Your users see your brand, not SimplePDF.
